Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje called for joint efforts to transform Rajasthan and make it shining in all sectors.

"We all together have to make Rajasthan transform and shine in all sectors so that people come here to see our progress for which hard work would be required," she said, addressing a Jansunvai programme in Khamnore Panchayat Samiti of Rajsamand district yesterday.

Stating that people were made to run from pillar to post to get their work done, she asked bureaucrats and government employees to do their duties and redress problems on time, a CMO release, quoting her, said today.

"I have to face people and they say declaring five day week was not right because employees are not found in government offices from Monday to Friday," she said.

Raje also expressed concern over the degrading quality of education in government schools resulting in decreasing number of students, while they were increasing in private schools.

During the tour, she witnessed many schools where total number of students was 15-16, while private schools nearby had 500 students enrolled, the release said.
