Refined palmoil prices weakened at the Vashi oils and oilseeds market here today due to poor demand from retailers.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial moved up on mild demand from shippper and soap industries.
However, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained the steady trend in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,025 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,000 and castor oil commercial rose Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 835 from Rs 830. Linseed oil was unaltered at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
While refined palmolein slipped by Rs 9 per 10 kg to Rs 421 from its previous close of Rs 430, groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1040 per 10 kg.
