Refined palmolein prices weakened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil prices ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial prices continued its downtrend due to lower demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible section, refined palmolein eased by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 526 from Monday's closing level of Rs 528. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold slipped by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,150 from Rs 4,175 and castoroil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 860 as against Rs 865 yesterday. Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 760 per 10kg.
