Refined palmolein continued its downtrend at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from retailers amidst lower Malaysian cues.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial prices fell further owing to reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible section, refined palmolein declined by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 502 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 510. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 765 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold eased by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,125 from Rs 4,150 and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 855 as compared to Rs 860 previously.
Linseed oil closed unaltered at Rs 760 per 10 kg.
