Refined soya oil prices moved down by 0.37 per cent to Rs 784.60 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure, taking negative cues from spot market on easing demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in April fell by Rs 2.95, or 0.37 per cent to Rs 784.60 per 10 kg with an open interest of 36,170 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in March contract was trading lower by Rs 2.40, or 0.31 per cent to Rs 779.50 per 10 kg in 24,840 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants following sluggish demand in the physical market against ample stocks position, mainly weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
