Press Trust of India New Delhi
Zinc prices drifted lower by 0.30 per cent to Rs 215.10 per kg in futures market today as speculators cut bets, taking weak cues from the spot market on muted demand from consuming industries.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in March fell by 65 paise, or 0.30 per cent, to Rs 215.10 per kg in business turnover of 1,024 lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in April contracts was trading lower by a similar margin to Rs 215.25 per kg in 70 lots.

Marketmen said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market influenced zinc prices at futures trade.
