Amid tight supplies from growing regions, refined soya oil prices were up 0.72 per cent to Rs 611.50 per 10 kg in the evening session in futures trading today.
The exchange opened for the evening session as it remained closed in the morning for 'Gurunanak Jayanti'.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month January 2016 rose by Rs 4.40, or 0.72 per cent to Rs 611.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 85,540 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in December contracts moved up by Rs 3.40, or 0.56 per cent to Rs 611.20 per 10 kg 83,560 lots.
Market analysts attributed rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade to restricted supplies from producing belts.
