Rel Jio showcases high-speed wi-fi at investors meet

Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, subsidiary of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries, today showcased its Jionet high speed wi-fi internet service with BWA (Broadband Wireless Access) Spectrum at the Global Investors Meet here.

Jio is the official service provider for the two-day conference, providing "high speed wireless connectivity" through wi-fi network, it said in a statement.

Delegates at the venue can access the wi-fi connectivity for free through mobile phones, tablets or laptops after registering on Jionet service, it added.

"At the event, Jio is offering Jionet high speed wi-fi internet service as we want visitors to sample the digital ecosystem we are building consisting of high speed data networks, specially designed apps and rich content..", a Reliance Jio spokesperson said.
