RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat today greeted eminent jurist Justice V R Krishna Iyer on his 100th birthday.
Bhagwat telephoned Iyer from Bengaluru and extended the greetings, a RSS release said here.
In his short message, Bhagwat said "upright persons like Iyer are the icons and mainstay of character of our nation," the release added.
As per the Malayalam calendar, Iyer's star birthday falls today, while his actual birth date is November 15.
