Actor Ryan Gosling is all praise for his partner Eva Mendes after working with her in his upcoming directorial debut "Lost River."
The 34-year-old actor gushed about Mendes, who appears in the film as Cat, and said she helped him and the costume designer choose clothes for the other actors, reported E! Online.
"She indirectly picked things that became very important to different people involved," Gosling said.
"She hates credit and she'll even be mad that I'm giving her that credit. But she was very helpful in so many ways."
"Lost River" is centred on a single mother swept into a dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town.
The movie also stars Christina Hendricks and Matt Smith.
