SBT's ATM found mangled

The automated teller machine

of the State Bank of Travancore on the outskirts of Nagercoil town was found mangled after a failed attempt to rob money from it early this morning, police said.

The CCTV footage is being analysed, police said.

Officials said the money was intact, and it was not possible to break open the ATM's safety vault.

Both Kerala and Tamil Nadu police personnel have been alerted to nab the culprits, officials added.
