Copra Rajapur prices surged at the spices market here today due to heavy demand from bulk consumers and stockists supported by limited arrivals.
Elsewhere, copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode firmed up further on the back of higher millers offtake.
While, black pepper eased due to weak export enquiries amid adequate supplies.

Copra Rajapur shot-up by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 18,000 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 17,500.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode climbed by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 10,300 and Rs 10,200 from Rs 10,200 and Rs 10,100, respectively.
However, black pepper moved down by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 725/775 as against Rs 730/780 previously.
