Prices of moong and other pulses drifted upto Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale market today owing to slackened demand at prevailing levels.
Marketmen said besides low demand from retailers, adequate stocks in the market kept pressure on select pulses prices.
In the national capital, moong eased by Rs 150 to Rs 6,000-7,000, while its dal chilka local declined by Rs 200 to Rs 6,900-7,400 per quintal respectively.
Moong dal dhoya local and best quality lost Rs 200 each at Rs 6,900-7,200 and Rs 7,700-7,800 per quintal respectively.
Moth, arhar and its dal dara variety also traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,900-5,200, Rs 4,700-5,000 and Rs 6,100-6,400 per quintal respectively.

Masoor small 5,300-5,600, bold 5,300-5,650, Dal Masoor local 6,300-6,400, best quality 6,400-6,500, Malka local 6,150-6,450, best 6,350-6,450, Moth 4,900-5,200, Arhar 4,700-5,000, Dal Arhar Dara 6,100-6,400.
