Select pulses remain lower on adequate supply

Prices of select pulses fell further up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on adequate stocks position on pick up in supplies against sluggish demand from retailers.

Traders said low demand from retailers against adequate stocks position on higher supplies in the markets, mainly kept pressure on select pulses.

In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 9,500-10,500 and Rs 10,600-10,800 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs10,700-11,300 and Rs 11,100-11,500 per quintal respectively.
 

Gram, gramdal local and best quality were also slide by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,250-5,800, Rs 5,550-5,800 and Rs 5,750-6,050 per quintal respectively.

Masoor small and bold too eased by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,600-6,600 and Rs 5,650-6,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,800-7,000 and Rs 6,900-7,100 per quintal respectively.

Urad Rs 9,500-10,500, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 10,600-10,800, Urad best Rs 10,700-11,300, Dhoya Rs 11,100-11,500, Moong Rs 7,050-7,650, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,650-8,050, Moong Dhoya local Rs 8,000-8,500 and best quality Rs 8,500-8,700.

Masoor small Rs 5,600-6,600, bold Rs 5,650-6,600, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,800-7,000, best quality Rs 6,900-7,100, Malka local Rs 6,500-6,800, best Rs 6,600-7,000, Moth Rs 5,700-6,100, Arhar Rs 10,500, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 12,000-15,000.

Gram Rs 5,250-5,800, Gram dal (local) Rs 5,550-5,800, best quality Rs 5,750-6,050, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,410, Rajdhani Rs 2,410, Rajma Chitra Rs 5,000-6,400, Kabuli Gram small Rs 5,100-7,600, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,000-5,200, Peas white Rs 2,700-2,725 and green Rs 2,950-3,050.
