Separatist militants today kidnapped four candidates who were declared unopposed winners in upcoming polls to local bodies in the restive Balochistan province of southwest Pakistan.
A Levies official, who asked not to be named, said 13 suspected militants kidnapped the four men from Dasht area of Kech district.
"Since morning, we are clueless about the whereabouts of the kidnapped men," he said.

The incident came a day after militants abducted two other councillors from Kech.
Separatist groups have called a strike to disrupt the polls to local bodies in Balochistan.
