Seven persons including two women were killed and three others injured in separate incidents in Jharkhand today, police said.
Three persons including two women labourers were killed on the spot while three others injured when a dumper and truck collided and fell in a road side ditch near Chaipani village on Dumka-Rampurhat road under Shikaripara police station, Dy SP A K Srivastav said.
The victims have been identified as the dumper driver Sadaan Singh and two women labourers while the truck driver Rakesh Kumar Bhagat, his conductor Akhilesh Kumar and a male labourer were injured, he said, adding, that the injured were admitted to Maulpahari Christian Hospital in Shikaripara.

Meanwhile, in an another incident, one person identified as Basukinath Sen was crushed under the wheel of a pick-up van near Nipania village under Masalia police station of the district, police said.
According to a report received from Palamau district, a motorcyclist and his pillion rider were knocked down by a speeding Scorpio near Barwadih under Rehala police station, police said.
The victims identified as Abdul and Aftab were on their way to Bisrampur from Belchama village in adjoining Garwah district on a motorcycle when a speeding Scorpio collided head-on, killing the two on the spot, they said.
In another incident, a 30-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Chitnala locality under Noadiha Bazar police station of the district this afternoon, police said.
The man received gun shot injuries near his temple, they said, adding that the identity of the victim has not been established yet.
