Shah to visit Himachal Pradesh

As part of the party's preparation for the 2017 state elections, BJP National President Amit Shah will be visit Himachal Pradesh and address the booth level office bearers of 18 Assembly segments falling in Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts on December 11.

He will be here to prepare the grassroots level workers to achieve the party's 50 plus mission in Assembly elections due next year, Chief spokesman of Himachal Pradesh BJP Rajiv Bindal said here.

The meeting would be held at Thodo Ground and about 6,000 delegates are expected to participate.

National Organising Secretary Ram Lal, General Secretary and party's incharge of Himachal Pradesh Srikant Sharma, Union Health minister J P Nadda, former chief ministers Shanta Kumar and P K Dhumal, state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti, Anurag Thakur and Varinder Kashyap, MPs and other senior party leaders would also attend the conference, he added.
 

Bindal said preparations are in full swing in all 18 Assembly segments and the meet would give a call to oust the Congress-led government in the state.
