SI caught taking bribe in Kaithal

Haryana State Vigilance Bureau today caught a sub-inspector red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Kaithal district for not arresting a person.

The cop Pardeep Kumar has accepted the bribe from a resident of Kithana, Police Station Rajaund, district Kaithal, for not arresting a person in a quarrel case, an official spokesman said here.

The SI has been booked under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act at the Bureau Police Station in Rohtak.
