'Alien' star Sigourney Weaver is the latest star to join the Liam Neeson-Felicity Jones starrer 'A Monster Calls'.
The film is an adaptation of Patrick Ness' award-winning children's fantasy novel and is being directed by Juan Antonio Bayona of 'The Impossible' fame.
The story revolves around a young boy who attempts to deal with bullying at the hands of his classmates, and his mother's terminal illness, by escaping into a fantastical world through the guidance of a tree monster, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Weaver will play the boy's grandmother, Jones is on board as the mother, while Neeson is playing the titular monster.
The film will release on October 14, 2016.
