Six-year-old boy kidnapped in Agra

A six-year-old son of a paper merchant was allegedly kidnapped when he was playing outside his house by two bike borne persons in Madia Katra area here on Saturday evening, police said today.

A special team of STF carried out searches last night, SSP Agra Preetinder Singh said, adding some labourers in the area had been questioned.

Senior police officials met the paper merchant Prateek Varshney at his residence in Madia Katra area under Hari Parbat police station.

Local MP and a Union minister of state for HRD Ram Shankar Katheria also met Varshney.

Divya, a second class student, was cycling in the lawn of his house when the two bike borne persons abducted him, while his mother and grandmother cried for help, Varshney said.
