Small sugar rebounds on fresh demand

Small sugar prices rebounded modestly at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to fresh demand from stockists and bulk consumers.

While, Medium sugar ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.

Small sugar (S-30) rose by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 3,572/3,662 from Wednesday's level of at Rs 3,566/3,662.

Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,646/3,762.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,646/3,762 (Rs 3,646/3,762).

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,566/3,662 (Rs 3,566/3,662).
