Congress President Sonia today called up Parliamentary Affairs Venkaiah Naidu to wish him on occasion of Diwali.
Naidu, who is in Visakhapatanam, also greeted her on the occasion, according to a close aide of the Minister.
The senior BJP leader was spending his Diwali with the Hudhud affected families in Andhra Pradesh.
As a Union Minister, Naidu has already sent Diwali greetings to leaders of all political parties.
BJP National President Amit Shah also greeted people on the occasion of Diwali.
"Wishing that the glow of diyas spread lots of happiness & joy in your life. Shubh Deepawali," said a message posted on Shah's Facebook Wall.
