Chasing a small target of 58 runs to win, South Africa were 19 without loss in their second innings at tea on the fifth and final day of the second cricket Test at Kingsmead, here today.

Skipper Graeme Smith (5) and Alviro Petersen (14) will resume the hosts innings after the break.
