South-West monsoon weakening over Bihar

South-West monsoon has become weak over Bihar even as light to moderate rainfall occurred at one or two places in the state, according to MeT office.

Patna recorded 3.2 mm rainfall today while temple town of Gaya registered 45.6 mm rain, a MeT office bulletin said.

Bhagalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius, followed by 34.3 deg cel in Purnea, 32.5 deg cel in Gaya and 29.5 deg cel in capital Patna.

The state Weather office has forecast generally cloudy sky with few spells of rain or thundershower at some places in the state tomorrow.

It also issued a warning of thundershower accompanied by lightning at one or two places in the state tomorrow.
