Steel prices reamain steady

Steady conditions prevailed at the steel market today as prices moved in a narrow range in the absence of buying support and settled around previous levels.

Traders said absence of worthwhile buying support from construction units against sufficient stocks kept previous at last levels.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 38,800, 10-mm Rs 37,000, 12-mm Rs 36,400, 16-25 mm Rs 36,400.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
