Steel prices end steady in tight movements

There was not much activity at the wholesale steel market in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a narrow range in scattered deals, settled around previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks against limited deals from construction units kept prices unchanged.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 35,400, 10-mm Rs 33,600, 12-mm Rs 33,000, 16-25 mm Rs 33,000.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
