It might be lights out for TV series "Stranger Things" after its fourth season.

The showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have hinted that the show may be wrapping up soon, reported US Magazine.

"We're thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out," Ross said in an interview with Vulture.

He also confirmed that the third installment of the show has been confirmed by the network.

Talking about the second spell of the series, Ross said the duo wanted it to appear like a "movie sequel".

"We wanted to push things a bit. I told Matt, 'I don't want to call it season two; I just want it to feel like a movie sequel.' If you have a successful movie, number two is always a little bit bigger," he said.
