An 18-year-old intermediate student was strangulated to death allegedly by his coaching teacher and his aides in Baradari area, police said here today.
Chandrabhan Singh alias Chandan was strangulated to death by his coaching teacher Naeem Akhtar and his aides yesterday, Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Malhotra said.
The post-mortem report confirmed death due to strangulation, he said.
Following a complaint by Chandan's father, a case of murder has been registered, he said.
Naeem has been taken into custody and is being quizzed while efforts are on to nab the other absconding accused, he added.
