A student undergoing Masters of Physical Education course has moved Bombay High Court urging it to quash the Mumbai University's decision nullifying his performance during first semester test held recently and debarring him from writing further examinations on grounds of alleged misconduct.
A bench headed by Justice Anoop Mohata asked University counsel Rui Rodrigues yesterday whether the matter can be placed before the examination Board, to which he replied in the affirmative.
The matter was then adjourned to October 8.

The petitioner said he had filed a police complaint against the head of department for using abusive language against him.
As a counter attack, he was served with a show cause notice by the unfair practices cell of the University in which it was alleged that he had used abusive language against the head of the department.
