Sugar prices remain flat on scattered buying

Sugar prices settled steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today on scattered buying activity amid restricted supplies from mills.

Marketmen said restricted activity following scattered buying, mainly kept sugar prices flat.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 45.00-50.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 4,050-4,150, S-30 Rs 4,040-4,140.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,740-3,830, S-30 Rs 3,730-3,820.

Sugar millgate (including duty): Mawana Rs 3,760, Kinnoni Rs 3,830, Asmoli Rs 3,800, Dorala Rs 3,760, Budhana Rs 3,750, Thanabhavan Rs 3,745, Dhanora Rs 3,750, Simbholi Rs 3,810, Khatuli Rs 3,810, Dhampur Rs 3,730, Ramala Rs 3,740, Anupshaher Rs 3,740, Baghpat Rs 3,760, Morna Rs 3,750, Sakoti Rs 3,740, Chandpur Rs 3,730, Nazibabad Rs 3,740 and Modinagar 3,750.
