Sugar remains steady on small buying

Sugar prices settled flat in the wholesale market at national capital today, following scattered buying suppot from retailers and bulk consumers amidst adequate stocks on higher supplies from millers.

Marketmen said irregular demand against comfortable stocks position, mainly kept sugar prices unchanged.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,230-3,430, S-30 Rs 3,210-3,410.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,105-3,290; S-30 Rs 3,085-3280.

Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,170, Kinnoni 3,290, Asmoli 3,230, Dorala 3,180, Budhana 3,155, Thanabhavan 3,145, Dhanora 3,125, Simbholi 3,270, Modi Nagar Rs 3,140, Khatuli 3,260, Dhampur 3,110, Ramala 3,160, Bulandshar 3,115, Anupshar 3,130, Baghpat 3,170, Morna 3,160, Sakoti 3,130, Chandpur 3,105 and Nazibabad 3,140.
