Superintending Engineer arrested for accepting bribe

A superintending engineer has been arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a resident of Jhajjar district.
R K Garg, posted in Public Health Engineering department in Jhajjar, had allegedly accepted the bribe for sending a letter of credit for payment of pending bills of repair to the headquarters, said a release issued by Haryana State Vigilance Bureau today.
The complaint was lodged by Mahabir, a resident of village Nilothi.
A case has been registered against him under sections 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act at Bureau's police station in Rohtak.
