Swipe Technologies forays into fitness segment

Pune-based handset and tablet vendor Swipe Technologies today said it has forayed into the fitness segment.

Swipe F-Band is priced at Rs 1,499 and the device will be available exclusively on Snapdeal from January 7, the company said in a statement.

The first 100 customers can avail this fitness band at a discounted price for Rs 1,299, it added.

The device that can track steps taken and calories burned, comes with a rechargeable 55 mAh battery which can last up to seven days.
