Teachers demand inclusion of 146 madrasa in UP aid list

Demanding inclusion of 146 madrasas in aid list of the state government, several teachers today staged a sit-in at a Gandhi statue here.
"Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had promised to include 146 madrasas in aid list of the state government two years ago but it did not happen", Wahidullah, General Secretary of All India teachers association Madaris-e-Arabia claimed.
About other demands, he said that service security rules should be made for the teachers of madrasas.
A number of madrasa teachers from all over the state were present during the sit-in.
