Continuing its rising streak for the third day, refined soya oil prices advanced by 1.16 per cent to Rs 619.30 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions amid rising demand in the spot market driven by festive season.
Further, tight supplies in the physical market on limited arrivals from producing belts, fuelled the uptrend.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October added Rs 7.10, or 1.16 per cent, to Rs 619.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 69,325 lots.
