Technical snag delays flight departure

Air Arabia's Sharjah-Kochi flight developed a technical snag following which its onward journey was delayed tonight.

The flight was scheduled to take off from Kochi at 7.30pm. Airport officials said the snag has been rectified and the flight will take off later tonight.

The flight had earlier been diverted to Coimbatore following heavy rain at Kochi. It later returned to Kochi after which the snag was noticed, officials said.
