A 14-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gangraped in Lalia area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the victim was alone in her house and two persons abducted her and took her to a secluded place and gangraped her, they said.
Tension prevailed in the area after villagers came to know about the incident and heavy police force was deployed in the area.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajiv Malhotra said an FIR has been lodged in this connection and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
