Temperatures remained above normal in most places of Uttar Pradesh with the weathermen predicting thundershowers for tomorrow in the eastern parts of the state.
The weather remained dry all over the state as heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places with Banda being the hottest at 47 degrees Celsius.
Though day temperature fell in Gorakhpur division, it rose in Jhansi division and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, the MeT department said.
Temperatures were markedly above normal in Allahabad, Lucknow division and appreciably above normal in remaining divisions of the state.
Thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Eastern parts of the state while dry conditions would prevail over Western Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, the MeT department added.
