A woman police head constable with Thane police has been arrested by the Navi Mumbai anti-corruption bureau for accepting a bribe.
Constable Priyanka Pankaj Gonjari (30) was arrested while accepting Rs 5,000 on the premises of the police station where she worked late last evening.
Inspector Sushma Yevle of ACB said that Gonjari was investigating a dowry case against the complainant, and had asked for bribe to go easy on the probe.
