Three armed men rob Rs 4.75 lakh from co-operative bank

Three armed men today robbed over Rs 4.75 lakh cash from a co-operative bank in Naroda locality, police said here.

"Three armed men, whose faces were covered with cloths, today looted Rs 4,75,711 from Vijay Co-operative bank at Sardar Chowk here," police said.

They entered the cashier's cabin and took away the cash at gun point, they added.

A police complaint was filed in this regard by the manager of the bank Rajeev Raval, they said.

A case has been registered and a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits, they said.
