Three arrested in Faridabad for selling cannabis

Three persons were arrested from different parts of the city for allegedly selling cannabis, police said today.

Police on receiving information about people sending the drug in various parts of the city laid a trap and arrested the trio yesterday.

In the first case, one Rohit Kumar was arrested from Mewla Maharajpur with 650 gm of drug.

While Vijay Kumar, was arrested from sector-8 with 146 grams, another Rajesh, hailing from UP's Ballia district was arrested from Sarai Khwaja with 2.5 kg drug, police said.

All the three have been booked under relevant sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and further investigations are on, police said.
