Three dead, two injured as a shop-roof collapses

Three people were killed and two others were injured this evening when the roof of a shop -- a general stores -- fell on them at Bhadava near here.

The area falls within the limits of Ratangarh police station, some 60 km from here, Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Indarjeet Singh Bakarwal said.

Motilal Banjara (18), Omprakash Banjara (18) and Raju Banjara (26) died on the spot, while Bothlal Gurjar (45) and Jaswant Gurjar (15) sustained injuries.

The injured were admitted to the district hospital.

The cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained.
