Three drug peddlers held in Pb
Three drug peddlers have been arrested from different locations in the city and 590 intoxicating tablets were seized from them, police said today.
The accused have been identified as Jasmit Singh, Upinder Singh and Navin Kumar.
Police said Jasmit and Upinder were arrested by a police party last night when the duo were going on motorcycle towards Baghana village, whereas Navin was arrested near Civil, they said.
Police said 280, 240 and 70 intoxicating tablets were seized from Jasmit, Upinder and Navin respectively.
The trio were arrested under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, police said.
