With the arrest of three persons, Crime Branch of Delhi Police today claimed to have busted an interstage gang of robbers active in different parts of the national capital.
The accused have been identified as Chand and Sadeeb Khan, both residents of Muzaffarnagar, and Shahid, a resident of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
"We are interrogating them about their accomplices to get some leads about their hideouts and further investigation is on," said a police official.
After receiving a tip-off that the accused would come on February 27 in Usmanpur area to rob a businessman, police laid a trap and arrested them.
One sophisticated pistol, a country-made pistol with 8 live cartridges and a scooter was recovered from their possession.
