Three persons were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck between Charuwa and Sarsud village in the district last night, a police official said today.
While two persons died on the spot, third one succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, Cheepabad police station in-charge Pramendra Singh said.
The deceased were identified as Shankar Korku (22), Gulab Korku (25) and Shantilal (24), he said.
The bodies were handed over to the relatives after autopsy, he said adding that a case has been registered in this connection.
Further investigation into the case was on.
