Truck hits bike in UP, 3 killed

Three members of a family, including a child, were today killed when a motorcycle they were riding was hit by a speeding truck in Puranpur area here, police said.

All three died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Sanjeev Mandal (35), his wife Amrita Mandal (32) and daughter Bhoomi (2).

"No arrests have so far been made and a probe is on in the matter," a police official said.
