Three laptop thieves arrested in Noida

Three persons alleged to be the members of inter-state gang of thieves who used to steal laptops from cars and also the cars have been arrested, police said today.

The three, all residents of Madangir locality of South Delhi, were arrested by Sector 24 police last night from near City Centre metro station last night, they said, adding that a car, seven laptops and some equipments to break car windows and tools to open car gates opening have been recovered.

The accused have been identified as Suraj, son of Durga; Suraj son of Karna and and Ashish Verma.

During interrogation they confessed that they were members of inter-state gang of thieves who used to steal laptops from the car and also the cars.
 

With this arrest of the three, police claimed to have solved four laptop thefts in Sector 24 area.

Two laptops and two laptop bags were thefts from this police station, while five others were stolen from Delhi, they said.
