A case of rape has been registered here 18 months after a minor girl from Delhi was allegedly sexually assaulted by a youth during a visit to her relatives house here.
The victim's family had lodged a complaint with a police station in Okhla Delhi last month and a zero FIR was registered there, which got transferred here last night, police said today
The family had alleged that they were unable to get an FIR registered at the police station here and therefore, filed a zero complaint at the Okhla Delhi police station.
The 13-year-old girl had come on a visit to her relatives house here on holidays when the accused, who stayed nearby, took her to a room and forcibly raped her.
"A manhunt has been launched to arrest the rape accused," a police officer said.
