Three missing girls re-united with parents

Three minor girls who had been missing from here since February 5 have been recovered from Amritsar, police said today.

Girls identified as Tahira (15) and Zahira (13), both sisters, and their friend Husna (16) -all residents of local Kaulsar area here were recovered yesterday .

Girls had told police that they had gone to Amritsar to visit Golden temple without informing their parents, Phagwara Sub-division Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajeshwar Singh Sidhu said.

"A police party brought them back here and they were re-united with their parents", the SP added.
