Three more youths were arrested here today on the charges of gang rape and murder of a girl in Burdwan town of West Bengal.
"Three youths of the locality were arrested after they were accused in the gang rape and murder case. A total of six persons have been arrested in this case," Superintendent of Police SMH Mirza said.
The post mortem report of the girl, a class XI student, revealed that she was gang raped, he said.

The body of the young girl was found on Monday morning. The girl had been missing since Friday evening when she left her home for tuition and did not return.
Her family lodged a complaint with the police the next day and her body was spotted near her home.
Suspecting the involvement of three local youths, one of them the husband of a friend of the girl, who were employed as guards at an under-construction nursing home in the area, locals beat them up severely and handed over to the police.
The locals gheraoed the police station demanding their punishment and blocked the arterial B C Road for sometime.
Locals today demanded CBI investigation into the rape and murder case. Intellectuals gathered at Curzon Gate and maintained a candle-lit vigil demanding the arrest of the culprits and security to the women.
